Job Description
A company is seeking a Quality Control (QC) Supervisor with experience in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry to oversee the QC team and ensure all products meet strict quality and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will manage laboratory operations, ensure compliance with SOPs, and maintain high standards of quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage the QC laboratory team

Ensure all products are tested and meet required specifications

Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory testing and analysis
-
Review and approve test results and QC documentation
-
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
-
Monitor adherence to GMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines
-
Assist in troubleshooting quality issues and implementing corrective actions
-
Train and mentor QC staff
-
Prepare reports for management and support audits
Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelors degree or diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field
-
3+ years experience in QC, preferably in the pharmaceutical or cosmetic industry
-
Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and regulatory compliance
-
Hands-on experience with QC laboratory techniques and instrumentation
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Strong leadership and supervisory abilities
Advantageous Skills
-
Experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, or other analytical techniques
-
Familiarity with ERP systems and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)

Previous exposure to regulatory inspections
