Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Risk and Assurance Consultant to join our client`s dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in assessing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm`s risk management, control, and governance processes.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Perform internal audits and assurance reviews across various departments and functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Provide expert advice on risk management, compliance, and internal audit matters.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, best practices, and emerging risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management training programs.
- Support external audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that recommendations are implemented effectively.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CA (SA), CIA, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, risk management, or assurance, preferably within a professional services firm or capital markets environment.
- Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
