About the Role

AJ Personnel is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our financial services sales team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multi-line financial services sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or related industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy across all business lines (credit insurance, guarantees and bonding, credit management platform, debt collections, top-up and gap cover, and investment solutions)
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets for each business line
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s Client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Clients, industry Stakeholders, and strategic Partners
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to continuously refine sales approaches and product offerings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within financial services or related industries
  • Proven track record in multi-line financial services sales, including credit insurance, bonding, and investment products

Qualifications
