Client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrator to join our Securities Administration team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and accurate trading of various financial products including ETFs, Unit Trusts, Structured Products, Retirement Annuities, Living Annuities, and morewhile upholding the principles of Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and maintaining exceptional client service.

The position comprises delivery in the following areas:

OBJECTIVE:

Efficient and Effective administration within the Securities environment

Effective and accurate trading of all products traded within the Securities Admin department (including but not limited to EFTs, UTs, Structured Products, RAs, LA, PPFs etc) within the SLA and ensuring excellent client services is maintained.

Ensuring a full understanding of the principles of TCF and how these translate into the overall objectives of the company.

All employees are responsible for complying with the principles and practices of Information Security Management. It is incumbent on all employees to fully understand the policies in ensuring the security of all information within the business.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS):

Ensure that the SLA objectives are met in terms of business process

Follow up with clients for outstanding documents

Timeous resolution of internal and external queries

Ensure that ad hoc admin processes are completed timeously

Daily reporting to team leader on outstanding work items

Acquiring documents via work flow systems

Understand the Financial services industry

In depth knowledge of the Financial intelligence centre Act and Due diligence requirements

Deal with client queries via the Itransact service and support centre

A good understanding of the RA, Pension Provident and Living Annuity industry

Manage work load independently to ensure daily deadlines are met

Systematic approach

Following and understanding procedure

Ability to follow and complete routine functions

Grasp basic calculation requirements

Accurate processing of client instructions within SLA timelines

Daily capturing and administrative duties in line with department processes

Resolving internal and external queries in a timely manner

Working independently to meet daily deadlines

Regular reporting to the Team Leader on outstanding items

Handling client queries via Itransact Service & Support

Ensuring adherence to FICA and Due Diligence requirements

Completing ad hoc administrative tasks as required

Demonstrating a strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly the RA, Pension, Provident, and Living Annuity segments

Recognise errors within detailed information

Ability to prioritise and plan appropriately

Employees must fully understand the Principles of TCF and how it relates to our service to our clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum: Matric
• Preferred: Relevant tertiary qualification
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the Unit Trust or ETF industry
