About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team at Goldman Tech in Johannesburg. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications using PHP, MySQL, and MSSQL. Your expertise in Python is highly advantageous. You should have experience with e-commerce applications and integrations, as well as knowledge of No-SQL databases such as MongoDB.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, maintain, and enhance existing functionality and troubleshoot issues
- Write clean and efficient code using PHP, MySQL, and MSSQL
- Develop and implement e-commerce features using Python
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Work with legacy code to improve performance and scalability
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in web / PHP development
- Strong MVC knowledge using Laravel, CodeIgniter, etc.
- Experience with integrations and No-SQL databases (MongoDB)
- Ability to work on legacy code
- Comfortable working with Git and Web API’s
- Serve and consume Web Services (SOAP, JSON, REST, XML)
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in relevant field (if applicable)
- Relevant certifications or training (if applicable)
