Kendrick Recruitment is now seeking a Senior Journey Specialist for a renowned luxury property group with offices based in Johannesburg or Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-driven professional with a strong background in luxury travel planning and a deep understanding of the Southern and East African travel landscape.

Key

Responsibilities:

• Manage and complete booking confirmations

• Provide continuous support and clear communication to the Operations Specialist

• Build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders, understanding business trends and guest expectations

• Represent the company on familiarization trips as required to strengthen relationships and product knowledge

• Maintain strong supplier relationships, using in-depth knowledge to benefit all parties

• Ensure accuracy in booking details and maintain financial integrity across reservations

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

• Matric certificate with Mathematics (minimum standard grade or above)

• Tertiary certificate in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality (advantageous)

Experience:

• Minimum 45 years in a senior role within the inbound travel industry

• Proven experience in guest journey planning, client relationship management, and product development

• In-depth knowledge of Southern and East Africa

• Experience with TourPlan, WETU, or similar booking systems
