Job Summary

As a SigmaNEST Programmer, you will be responsible for programming and optimizing cutting patterns for our clients laser cutting machines using SigmaNEST software. Your role will also involve preparing accurate quotes based on customer requirements, ensuring that we maintain our high standards of precision and efficiency. Key

Responsibilities:

Program laser cutting machines using SigmaNEST software for various materials (metal, plastics, etc.) Create and optimize cutting patterns to minimize material wastage and improve cutting efficiency Prepare accurate and detailed quotes for customers based on job specifications and material usage Ensure timely delivery of programmed jobs to meet production deadlines Maintain and update the SigmaNEST system with the latest materials and cutting parameters Collaborate with the production team to resolve any programming or cutting issues Perform routine checks on machine performance and assist with troubleshooting as needed Ensure adherence to company safety protocols and quality standards

Requirements:

Proven experience using SigmaNEST software (essential) Ability to write accurate and competitive quotes on SigmaNEST Must be computer literate and able to navigate various software tools effectively Reliable transport to commute to our workshop in Troyeville, Johannesburg Experience working in a laser cutting environment (essential) Previous experience in a workshop setting will be an advantage Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team If you meet the above requirements and are looking to work in a fast-paced, rewarding environment, apply today We look forward to hearing from you.
