Job Summary

Job Summary:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced au pair or caregiver to provide dedicated care for a young adult with cerebral palsy. The individual requires assistance with daily living activities, physical care, and emotional support. This is a full-time position based at our home.

Responsibilities:

Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.Administer medications and follow care routines as instructed by medical professionals.Assist with mobility, including using mobility aids and providing physical support as needed.Engage in therapeutic activities to promote physical and emotional well-being.Prepare and serve meals that meet dietary requirements.Maintain a clean and organized environment in the patients living and care areas.Offer companionship and emotional support.Communicate effectively with family members about daily care and progress.

Requirements:

Previous experience in care-giving, nursing, or a similar role (experience with cerebral palsy is highly preferred).Compassionate, patient, and nurturing nature.Ability to handle physical aspects of care-giving, including lifting and transferring the individual.Good communication skills.Basic understanding of first aid and CPR (certification is an advantage).Availability to work flexible hours if needed.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Comfortable and supportive working environment.Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someones life.
