About the Role
Join a Managed IT Services team supporting clients across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, backups, and infrastructure. As a Technical Consultant / L2 Support Engineer, you’ll resolve Level 2 incidents, troubleshoot Active Directory and TCP/IP networking issues, and manage server hardware and backups. You’ll earn R35,000 – R45,000 CTC per month, plus medical aid, a company laptop, and compensated overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve Level 2 incidents across Microsoft 365, Windows Servers, and LAN environments
- Troubleshoot Active Directory (users, access, permissions) and core services like DNS/DHCP
- Investigate and fix TCP/IP networking issues affecting uptime and user productivity
- Support server hardware, including RAID troubleshooting and recovery
- Manage and check backups using Veeam (or similar), including restores when needed
- Document fixes clearly and communicate progress to clients and internal teams
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory Office 365 / Microsoft 365
- International MCSE / MCSA Certification
- CompTIA A, Network, Server
- Strong troubleshooting ability in TCP/IP networking (LAN, DNS, DHCP)
- Backup exposure using Veeam or another backup solution
- Windows Server support experience and server hardware knowledge (RAID)
