Minimum Requirements: Essential: Grade 12 / Matric 2 year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy Minimum of 12 months technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon environment Computer literate Sound numerical skills Willing and able to work retail hours Advantageous: 3 year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty Therapy Minimum of 3 years’ technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon environment Job Description: Provide customers with an excellent salon experience Perform facials, waxing, massages, manicures and pedicures in line with Dis-Chem standards Report on, and provide feedback to, customers queries, complaints and compliments Keep abreast of new products and treatments/service techniques Manage stock levels according to Dis-Chem Salons needs Ensure all relevant equipment is operational and sanitary at all times Competencies: Essential: Possess general knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology and contradictions for skin/body treatments Strong command of English (written and oral) Be a team player, have good customer relations Be deadline and target driven Advantageous: Soft laser and Bio-Magnetic, microdermabrasion, slimming and spray tan Any laser or additional salon equipment training Bilingual Special conditions of employment: Willing and able to work retail hours Willing and able to travel to and from the store Fit and able to perform massage, facial and body treatments South African citizen Clear credit and criminal records Remuneration and benefits: Market-related salary Medical aid Provident fund Staff account ONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
