About the Role
Ad Talent Africa, a dynamic media solutions company based in Johannesburg, is seeking an experienced Videographer and Photographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that showcases our clients’ brands and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, film, and edit brand and commercial video content
- Shoot on set, in studio, and at live events or activations
- Manage and maintain all video equipment
- Collaborate with creative, brand, and client teams to plan shoots
- Direct camera operators and oversee post-production editing
- Develop SOPs, briefing documents, and campaign materials
- Create motion graphics for brand and client campaigns
- Source and brief external suppliers and manage production budgets
- Capture and edit photography for events, campaigns, and CSI initiatives
- Retouch and prepare final images for brand use
Requirements
- Matric and qualification in Digital Marketing, Videography, or Photography
- Minimum 5 years of experience in videography and photography (digital and TV)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom) and other editing tools (Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Motion Array, Envato Elements)
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, multimedia, and post-production
- Knowledge of SEO, social media marketing, content marketing, and paid campaigns
- Experience using Mailchimp and WordPress
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Solid grasp of emerging digital tools and best digital practices
- Understanding of how radio integrates with digital media
- Bilingual in English and isiZulu (read and write)
