Employer Description Our client specializes in rotating equipment solutions. Job Description You will be responsible for the following: Disassemble and assess damage on blower parts Maintenance and assembly of blowers Measure bearing clearances using a DTI and Feeler Gauges General machining on a Centre Lathe and Milling Machine Use of hydraulic tools to install gears Pulley installation and vee-belt alignment Overhead crane use Disassembly and Inspection of equipment Qualifications Trade Tested Mechanical Fitter/ Fitter and Turner Must have done an Apprenticeship Matric Skills Minimum 3 years experience as a fitter or technician, particularly in the compressed air or industrial rotating machinery sector. Ability to use measuring tools such as dial test Indicator (DTI), feeler gauges Familiarity with compressed air systems and related equipment (e.g., rotary screw compressors, air dryers, filters). Experience with pneumatic systems, valves, pumps, and other mechanical systems. Strong problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues. Benefits Overtime
