About the Role
Hire Resolve’s Client is currently looking for an experienced Occupational Hygiene Officer to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and controlling workplace health risks to support a safe and compliant working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and control occupational health stressors within the work environment.
- Conduct occupational health risk assessments and exposure evaluations.
- Coordinate workplace monitoring activities, including sampling and data analysis.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and investigations related to occupational hygiene.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and data integrity.
- Support compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health
- Intermediate Certificate in Mine Environmental Control
- Registered with SAIOH and/or MVSSA
- 3 years’ experience as an Occupational Hygiene Officer/Practitioner
- Valid Driver’s License
