Our client is seeking a skilled Cost/Pricing Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing product costs, setting pricing strategies, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in relation to cost and pricing activities. This role requires a strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:
– Analyze product costs and provide insights into cost drivers and variances
– Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability
– Monitor and analyze pricing trends in the market and make recommendations for pricing adjustments
– Conduct regular reviews of pricing structures and make necessary adjustments to remain competitive
– Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives
– Prepare and analyze financial reports related to cost and pricing activities
– Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes to support overall financial goals
– Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
– CIMA certification preferred/Enrolled
– 3+ years of experience in cost accounting or pricing analysis
– Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
– Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
