As an SAP EWM Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the holistic deployment of large-scale IT applications within the organization. You will collaborate with business teams, solution architects, and IT professionals to translate business needs into technical solutions while ensuring smooth implementation, training, and support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment of IT applications, including gathering local legal requirements, setting up master data, documenting functionalities, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Define, document, and execute IT projects or sub-projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.

• Plan and monitor project tasks and resources while proactively identifying and managing risks.

• Engage with stakeholders to align project approaches, establish realistic plans, and track activities.

• Ensure formal project closure and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

• Configure software parameters and manage system maintenance and documentation.

• Provide first-level user support, coordinate second-level support when needed, and drive issue resolution.

• Conduct internal and customer testing to ensure seamless integration of applications.

• Develop and execute end-user training programs to enhance system usability.

• Support and maintain SAP legacy systems on the Logistics Execution WMS platform.

• Drive regional IT strategy within the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) cluster and countries.

Requirements

• Bachelors (or higher) degree level of computer science or equivalent.
  
• Practical experience in the Contract Logistics & Warehousing business.
  
• Must have competed at least one SAP EWM implementations.
  
• Minimum 4-years SAP Functional Consultant (EWM, IM, MM, and SD)
  
• Experience supporting technology solutions for end users.
  
• Strong technical aptitude to learn new technologies.
  
• Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates and all levels of management.
  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team setting.
  
• Must exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow.
  
• Ability to work long hours and weekends as dictated by business needs.
  
• Ability to travel nationally and regionally when in demand.
  
• Ability to work in an agile team environment.
  
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  
• Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish the stated goals.
