Qualification:

• Matric
• Valid forklift license
• Min 1 years relevant stores or warehouse experience

Responsibilities:

• The Stock Handler will be responsible for the physical handling of stock, inventory control and assisting with the application of proper storekeeping management
  methods in the warehouse.
• This function includes but is not limited to: 
• Receiving and checking of stock and inward deliveries.
• Checking of incoming deliveries to delivery notes and relevant paperwork.
• Packing (put away) of stock in the correct and safe manner.
• Picking of stock as per picking documents and procedures
• Maintaining and working according to proper warehousing management and storekeeping principles and procedures.
• Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Loading of project trucks or transport in an efficient and safe manner.
• Packing, sorting, moving, loading and offloading of stock.
• Ensuring that stock loaded and dispatched from projects is correct and according to delivery notes.
• Cycle counts and checking of stock. Sorting, counting and prepacking various items of inventory into pack sized and/or quantities.
• Attending and performing stock takes (annually, quarterly or monthly).
• Attending to any other related tasks on an ad hoc basis.
