Dsv global transport and logistics requires the services of a dedicated, reliable, and experienced Storeman to be based in Kempton park Duties & ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders.Store goods in appropriate locations, ensuring correct labelling and organization.Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movement, and inventory.Issue parts and accessories to workshop technicians.Monthly Recons.Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.Conduct regular stock audits and assist with inventory control.Ensure compliance with safety regulations, keeping the storage area clean, organized, and hazard-free.Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.Perform other related duties to assist in the running of workshop as assigned.Desired Experience & QualificationMatric (Grade 12) Technical training would be essential.Proven experience as a storeman, preferably within the motor industry. Knowledge of stock control and warehouse management systems.Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
