An automotive engineering workshop is looking for an experienced, dynamic Automotive Machinist to join our team in Kimberley.The company is well known for it`s excellent quality standards and service in diesel engines engineering, and automotive services. This is a full-time on-site role as an Automotive Machinist – Engineering in a workshop. The role involves tasks related to engine remanufacturing, refurbishment, repairs, and fuel injection services for a wide range of combustion engines. The Machinist will work on engines from Deutz, Perkins, Volvo, Mercedes Benz, Cummins, and other leading brands.

Requirements:

Engine Machining, Engine Remanufacturing, and Engine Repair skillsDiesel and Petrol Combustion Engine knowledgeExperience in Heavy Vehicle ServicesTechnical Expertise in Automotive EngineeringProblem-solving and Analytical skillsAbility to work in a team environmentTrade certification in Automotive Engineering – non negotiable requirement – Automotive Machinist would be a great advantage.Sections: Crank Shafts, Conrods, Heads, Blocks, Engine Assembly.At least 8 to 10 years of similar experience in a workshopMust reside in Kimberley or willing to relocate.
