Krugersdorp: Registered Nurse – Primary Healthcare

About the Role

Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established Healthcare Centre in Noordheuwel, Krugersdorp, for a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse to join their clinical team. The successful candidate will provide Primary Healthcare services and assist Medical Doctors within the facility to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, triage, and vital observations
• Provide Primary Healthcare services within scope of practice
• Administer prescribed medication, injections, and immunisations
• Perform wound care, dressings, and basic clinical procedures
• Assist Medical Doctors during consultations and minor procedures
• Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies within the facility
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medication compliance, and preventative care
• Promote health awareness and disease prevention initiatives
• Support follow-up care and chronic disease monitoring programs

Requirements

• Registered Nurse qualification
• Active registration with SANC (Essential)
• 2–3 years’ experience in Primary Healthcare or GP practice
• Strong clinical assessment skills
• Computer literate (experience with electronic medical systems advantageous)
