La Lucia Healthcare is currently seeking for a ENA Candidate to work on the Surgical Ward permanent.
Requirements:
MatricRegistered with SANC as an Enrolled Nursing AuxiliaryMinimum 5 years? experience as an Enrolled Nursing AuxiliaryPrevious experience in a Private Hospital in a Surgical WardKey Outputs:Strong quality patient care orientationBLS competentAbility to monitor vital signs, identify the abnormalities and report to the EN and/or RNCompetently administering oral medicationCompetent in physical assessmentProvide health education to parents and patientsHigh energy levels and tolerance for stress/pressureFocus on quality patient care and accompany stable patients to procedures and interventionsAssist with setting and preparing for procedures and interventionsAssist with patient care, pressure care, catheter care and feedingProblem analysis/solving skills and accurate record keepingAdaptable and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamExcellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levelsAbility to render basic nursing care under supervisionShift work compulsoryAd hoc duties.
