Job Description
The Performance and Governance Specialist will act as the control tower for the Global Mobility (GM) program and is responsible for overseeing the performance metrics and governance frameworks of the global mobility program. This role ensures that all mobility processes align with organizational goals and comply with relevant regulations
This role will require thought leadership, an analytical approach, and applied knoweldge in developing performance metrics, reporting and dashboards that monitor the program’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of global mobility programs.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to employee relocations, assignments, and overall program success.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance policies and external regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Partner with Finance to ensure transparency of GM costs, including correct cost allocation and cross-charging.
- Provide training and support to employees and managers on governance and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to governance policies and performance metrics.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
Experience & Qualifcations
- Bachelors degree a related field.
- Experience in governance, risk, compliance and/or performance management
- Experience in global mobility is advantageous
- Strong analytical and digital skills
By combining data-driven insights with robust governance frameworks, the specialist will help deliver a mobility program that balances compliance discipline, cost efficiency, and a seamless employee experience. This individual will serve as the performance engine (through metrics, dashboards, and reporting) and the governance advisor (through controls, frameworks, and risk management) that connects day-to-day GM operations with leadership decision-making.
This role will be based Durban.
