• Strong technical knowledge across general building maintenance disciplines.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently in a remote location.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a safari lodge or remote hospitality environment.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Trade qualification (electrician, plumber, carpenter, or similar) advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of generators, and water treatment systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence required.

Working Conditions

• Live-in position in a remote bush environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Package:

• Live in position
• Three weeks on, 7 days off
• 5% Provident – does not form part of CTC package (compulsory membership).
• Uniform and food provided
