Job Description
– General Project Management
– Contract Administration and/or Assistance
– Monitoring and reporting on the Contractor’s programme and financial expenditure
– Ensure implementation of Engineer’s quality monitoring plan and monitor Contractor’s quality control plan
– Site audits, inspections, quality control testing, approval, rejection of work
– Measurement and certification of completed work inclusive of cash flow forecasts
– Regular site meetings with Contractor, Employer and Engineer and keeping of minutes
– Issuing of site instructions, variation orders, drawings, etc.
– Compile reports and as-built data in accordance with the Employer’s standard requirements
Qualifications And Experience:
– BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering
– ECSA-registered Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng, with a minimum 8 and 13 years of experience, respectively.
– SACPCMP qualification would be beneficial
– Experience in contract administration, construction monitoring and site supervision of contract work with a civil, structural and mechanical interfaces, including a minimum of one contract which involved large diameter welded steel pipelines.
Requirements:
– Proficient in Windows Office (Excel, Word and Projects as a minimum) Strong communication and people relation skills
– Astute learner and work well in a team environment
– Suitable candidate must have a valid driver’s license and own vehicle and must be willing to travel
