About the Role

We are seeking a passionate Trails Guide to join our exclusive 5-star lodge, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a high-end, intimate setting. As a Trails Guide with strong ethics and bush knowledge, you will be responsible for leading guests on unforgettable trails and ensuring their stay is nothing short of extraordinary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead guests on guided trails in the surrounding wilderness area
  • Provide expert guidance on local flora, fauna, and geology
  • Ensure guest safety and well-being at all times
  • Assist with lodge maintenance tasks as needed
  • Interact with international guests, providing exceptional hospitality and service

Requirements

  • FGASA Level 2 / NQF 4 (flexible for the right candidate)
  • Lead Trails Guide qualification (essential)
  • PDP, First Aid, DEAT (North West) qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a luxury 5-star lodge
  • Fluent English for international guest interaction

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary package provided.
  • Single, furnished live-in accommodation
  • Meals and uniform provided
  • Work cycle: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
  • 21 days annual leave (timing mutually agreed)
