<p>New Vacancy: Front of House and Guide Couple</p><p><br />We are seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to join our team as Front of House and Guide Couple for a<br />Luxury Lodge located in Madikwe Game Reserve.<br />Position/s: Front of House and Guide Couple<br />Location: Madikwe Game Reserve<br />Salary: on application<br />Live in position<br /><br />Front of House<br /> 1-2 years (minimum) at a 4*-5* lodge environment experience<br /> Minimum Grade 12 – hospitality degree/diploma beneficial<br /> Valid RSA ID and Drivers Licence<br /> Eye for detail, high level of telephone etiquette and excellent all-round communication skills<br /> Professional and well groomed<br /> Be able to work under pressure<br /> Computer literate<br /> PANStrat OS Knowledge Beneficial<br /> Team player with high regard for efficiency and eager to assist in all departments as needed<br /><br />Guide:<br /> Lead informative and engaging game drives, bush walks (lead trails guide), and other wildlife activities.<br /> Share in-depth knowledge of local flora, fauna, and conservation efforts with guests.<br /> Ensure the safety and well-being of guests during all guided activities.<br /> Collaborate with lodge management on wildlife monitoring.<br /> Provide additional support for lodge operations and guest services as required.<br /> Proven experience as a Field Guide in a 5* game lodge.<br /> Formal guiding qualifications such as FGASA (Field Guides Association of Southern Africa) Level 1 or<br /> higher, or equivalent as well as lead trails guide (would consider close to lead).<br /> Passion for wildlife, nature conservation, and sharing knowledge with guests.<br /> Ability to host guests not only during outside activities, but also in house.<br /> Valid driver license (PdP) and first aid certification.</p>
