About the Role
We are seeking an experienced TTD Operations Engineer (Advanced) to join our team in Menlyn, South Africa. As an Advanced TTD Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining VDI solutions aligned with BMW standards, driving VDI automation, onboarding, and cloud strategy. You will also be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and reporting on VDI performance, supporting cloud migration and application owners, managing ITSM processes, documentation, and security, and coordinating contractors and moderating operations meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain VDI solutions aligned with BMW standards
- Develop Ansible playbooks for hybrid cloud deployments
- Drive VDI automation, onboarding, and cloud strategy
- Monitor, optimize, and report on VDI performance
- Support cloud migration and application owners
- Manage ITSM processes, documentation, and security
- Coordinate contractors and moderate operations meetings
- Participate in weekend availability change implementations

Qualifications
- Degree in Information Systems or equivalent
- Certifications: ITIL, Scrum, Scrum Master, Storage, OS (advantageous)
- 4 years’ experience in IT Operations, storage, Scrum, VDI & OS
