Job Summary
Key Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Carry out refractory-related tasks while maintaining high competence levels.
- Conduct process sampling and testing to ensure product quality.
- Identify operational limitations and report to the shift supervisor.
- Implement immediate measures to prevent environmental releases, safety hazards, and production losses.
- Identify and report abnormal equipment behavior to the shift supervisor.
Education:
- College Diploma in Refractory Material and Installation.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a heavy chemical or refractory process industry.
- Prior experience in a similar role is essential.
- Can only come from refractory in a smelter as this is highly specialized.
- CHIETA training is a plus
