Job Summary
- Manage the full procurement process, with at least 6 years experience in the mining industry
- Management of various relationships regarding clients, buyers, and suppliers
- Ensure the timely submission of monthly/weekly reports
- Develop and maintain a manual of procedures, identifying key risks and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce exposure
- Propose innovative solutions to reduce costs and enhance procurement and sourcing performance
Skills & Work Experience:
- Qualified Technical Mechanical Engineer or similar
- Prior experience in mining, with procurement, is essential
- 5-10 years of relevant procurement experience
- Experience with project procurement
- Strong client communication skills
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong people and stakeholder management abilities
