Job Purpose:
The Specialist Operator PP is responsible for operating, controlling, and maintaining complex equipment to ensure product quality and inventory are maintained. The role may involve managing a team and providing coaching to develop technical expertise within the organization.
Job Summary:

• Operate and monitor complicated equipment across multiple process areas.
• Ensure equipment operates optimally, and product quality and inventory are consistently maintained.
• Manage and coordinate field activities during normal, startup, and emergency situations.
• Troubleshoot operational issues across various process areas.
• Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced operators to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Education:

• Degree or Diploma in a relevant field, combined with practical experience.

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience with a Degree, or 7 years of experience with a Diploma is desirable.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications as needed for the role.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Directs operators to ensure all field activities are coordinated during normal operations, startup, and emergencies.
2. Plans and coordinates work across process areas to ensure operational and maintenance tasks are completed.
3. Understands existing processes, procedures, and practices, and makes recommendations for improvements.
4. Troubleshoots complicated operational issues across process areas.
5. Conducts safety briefings to maintain operational safety.
6. Observes and reports on unsafe/safe acts promptly.
7. Operates and controls complex equipment and monitors its performance across all process areas.
8. Coaches and guides less experienced operators, improving their technical knowledge.
