DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESRetrieve, reconcile and monitor all remittance advicesAttend to resolve claim rejectionsMaximise payments received from medical schemesRequest authorisation from the medical aid schemes on various platformsFollow-up on all outstanding claims and short paymentsUpdate and send invoices to cash patientsAction and update weekly statistical reportReduce the total outstanding balance in the Age Analysis by focusing on collections and reconciliationsAssess and reconcile all outstanding claims to ensure the balances are accurately represented on the systemCapture and Submit all IOD claims Identify any incorrect billing to amend and resubmit claims accordinglySubmit weekly Claim Status Reports with detailed feedbackUpdate the Alegra system with all relevant informationMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric Minimum 2 years working experience as an Administrator / Billings Clerk in the medical industryProficient in MS Office and ExcelProficient in Medical Aid CRM systems and portalsAmbitious and eager to learnRELEVANT SKILLSGood numerical skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organisation skillsStrong negotiating skillsDetail orientatedAccurate and reliableExcellent attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to work independentlyShould you meet all the above criteria (including experience), please submit an updated and detailed CV.
