Midrand: Cashbook / Creditors Clerk

A well-established construction group is seeking an experienced Cashbook / Creditors Clerk to join its finance team. This is a newly created role and is ideal for a confident, detail-driven individual who can take full ownership of the banking and payment cycle in a high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities: Full management of the banking cycle , including accurate postings to the general ledger Processing and control of high volumes of daily payments Oversight of all banking administration functions , requiring persistence and strong follow-through Creditors processing, reconciliations, and payment controls Ensuring accuracy, compliance, and that deadlines are consistently met Working closely with senior management during the initial phase of the role Job Experience and Skills Required: Completed finance qualification Approximately 10 years experience in a similar commercial cashbook / creditors role Proven creditors experience in a high-volume payment environment (essential) Strong attention to detail with a resilient, assertive personality Solid Excel skills Experience with BuildSmart or similar construction accounting systems would be advantageous Apply now!
