About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at our Head Office in Midrand. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic office space while ensuring that all areas of the Head Office meet our high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the Head Office and communal areas on a daily basis.
- Develop routines to ensure all areas of the Head Office are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness.
- Clean and stock up the canteen with necessary products at all times.
- Be available at all times, throughout operational hours, to clean up as required.
- Ensure refuse does not contain any products or valued goods before disposing it.
- Vacuum carpeted areas (meeting and training rooms) daily as per standard operating procedures.
- Vacuum other carpeted areas once a week as per standard operating procedures.
- Dust desks, chairs, telephones, shelves, photocopiers, etc. in offices and meeting rooms as per standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Cleaning experience is essential for this role.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills are necessary when interacting with customers or staff members.
- Trustworthiness and honesty are crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail is required to ensure that all areas of the Head Office meet our hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 or Matric (no formal education mentioned)
