Duties:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Drive cost control and operational efficiency to maximize profitability.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Lead and mentor a team of cost accountants, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.
• Maintain strong relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.

 
Job Experience & Skills Required:
 
 
Qualifications:
 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Accounting Finance
• BCom Honours / CTA
• CA(SA) or Completed CIMA Qualification is a MUST!!

 
Experience:

• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles
• 5+ years’ experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in operational finance.

 
Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of financial reporting standards & regulatory requirements.
  Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
• Hands-on approach -someone who enjoys getting involved in operations and optimizing processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
