Job Summary
My client is seeking a motivated and experienced Logistics and Route Optimisation Coordinator to enhance their operations and contribute to their mission of delivering best-in-class logistics solutions.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimising routes, managing fleets, and ensuring seamless communication with clients and team members.
Key
Responsibilities:
Route Planning & Optimization:
- Plan and optimize routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Analyze route performance and recommend continuous improvements.
Fleet Monitoring & Driver Coordination:
- Monitor and track fleet movements to ensure operational effectiveness.
- Manage and coordinate drivers to maintain schedules and compliance.
Communication & Reporting:
- Act as a key liaison between clients, mechanics, and internal teams.
- Prepare regular fleet and logistics reports for management.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and compliance purposes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within logistics operations.
- Implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate or Diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the mining or transport logistics industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Assertive and firm, with the ability to handle dynamic environments effectively.
