About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Team Leader to join our Passenger Vehicle Outbound Team in Midrand, Gauteng. As an OEM Level team leader, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing outbound sales/BDC team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor individual and team KPIs including call volumes, appointments booked, show rates, and conversions
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and call listening
- Manage staff scheduling, attendance, discipline, and ongoing training
- Oversee outbound calling campaigns for new, pre-owned, service retention, and marketing initiatives
- Ensure accurate lead allocation, follow-ups, and feedback to sales managers
- Drive appointment setting for the new and used vehicle sales departments
- Compile and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
Requirements
- 3 years experience in outbound sales, call centre, or BDC environment within the motor industry
- Minimum 12 years experience in a team leader or supervisory role
- Strong understanding of passenger vehicle sales processes
- Experience working with CRM systems and outbound dialler platforms
- Proven ability to lead teams to achieve targets
- Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Target-driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
- High attention to detail and organisational ability
