Midrand: Senior Mechanical Draughtsperson

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Draughtsperson with a strong background in producing accurate machining and fabrication drawings for industrial fans, pressure vessels, non-pressure vessels, and related components . In this role, you will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver precise 3D models, detailed technical drawings, and layouts that align with project requirements and international industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models and technical drawings of industrial fans, pressure vessels, non-pressure vessels, and related components . Produce piping isometric drawings and generate material take-off lists (MTOs) . Refine design concepts during the detail design phase . Create and review designs using Inventor, AutoCAD. Interpret and apply information from process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) . Ensure proper design integration with other engineering disciplines. Prepare, update, and manage technical drawings, models, and documentation . Maintain structured and compliant drawing libraries in line with industry standards. Qualifications & Experience Diploma in Draughting or equivalent technical qualification. Minimum of 3 years experience as a draughtsperson in a fabrication/manufacturing environment . Proficient in Inventor and AutoCAD. Hands-on experience in mechanical equipment design . Knowledge of design codes and standards (ASME, SANS, EN advantageous). High attention to detail with a focus on technical accuracy . Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. Why Join Us?
