Job Summary
The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for developing and executing effective talent management strategies that attract, nurture, and retain top talent focusing on the Sales and Technical environment. The TMS shapes and drives people strategy at a corporate level, including hiring practices, leadership development, and other training programs. The TMS works closely with company leadership to align the companys people strategy with its overall business goals and objectives. Therefore, the TMS acts as a trusted advisor, providing insights on people-related matters and helping shape the companys culture, ultimately contributing to the organizations growth and overall success.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Management or similar.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in people management, preferably in a same or similar industry.
- Experience and knowledge of compensation models and benefits are essential.
- Strategic thinker and problem solver with HR expertise, who relies on business insights and analytics to guide their recommendations.
- Ability to evaluate and make recommendations on all aspects of people management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in using HR software tools, such as employee engagement platforms and applicant tracking systems.
- Business acumen and financial budget planning skills for hiring and compensation strategies.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and hire top talent, and ensuring the business has the right people in the right positions.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies that support the company’s business objectives and foster a culture of high performance and engagement.
- Oversee employee development, succession planning, performance management, and retention initiatives across the organization.
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining on and offboarding processes, refining recruitment policies, and managing employee benefit programs.
- Develops and implement programmes to foster an inclusive and equitable workplace.
- Measure existing programmes for effectiveness and employee trust.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of talent management programs and initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement, in the internal and external environment.
- Be the expert on the internal talent market for a broad range of functions and advise the business teams on trends and opportunities.
- Work closely with Senior Executives and HR partners to identify critical skills and competencies required for the organization’s success and develop plans to address any gaps.
- Create and manage compensation and benefits schemes that ensure the organisation is competitive in the talent market.
- Enhance skills in the existing workforce, ensure programmes foster career growth and identify talent for promotion and external hiring opportunities.
- Ensure programmes exist to foster communication with all employees (including branches) and resolve conflicts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Commit to the Companys safety and quality programs.
