About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join our team in Milnerton, Cape Town. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with various financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing and issuing customer invoices
  • Pulling and compiling financial and operational reports
  • Performing credit card reconciliations
  • Managing the debtors function (allocations, statements, collections, follow-ups)
  • Assisting with month-end procedures and reconciliations
  • Capturing financial transactions accurately on QuickTrav
  • Supporting the finance department with ad hoc administrative and finance-related duties
  • Ensuring compliance with company financial procedures and controls

Requirements

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Essential Certificate or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping
  • Advantageous 25 years experience in a finance/accounts assistant / junior bookkeeping role
  • Experience working on QuickTrav
  • Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, basic reporting)
