Job Description
- Full function for AR/AP – Including age analysis, processing and management of Debtors Control
- Bank Reconciliations
- Cash Drop reconciliations and management
- Payroll preparation support
- Maintaining ledgers to the trial balance
- Filing and record-keeping
- Support Financial Manager
- Prepare financial reports
- Ensure compliance with all internal financial controls, rules and audit requirements
Qualifications:
- Matric coupled with a degree and or national diploma in accounting
- 2-3 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping – including clerical or internship work
- Computer skills – SAGE / Pastel MS Office (Excel)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Previous experiences in the hospitality industry will be advantageous
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, debits/credits/trial balance
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to reconcile accounts and process invoices
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication – written and verbal
- Ability to work within a team environment
