About the Role
Trade tested Diesel Mechanic is required to join our team at Farm Manager SA in Mpumalanga. We are seeking an experienced mechanic with a passion for agricultural equipment and mechanical machinery operation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and other mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with complex mechanical systems
- Collaborate with farm staff to ensure efficient equipment operation
- Record maintenance activities in our database
- Provide training to less experienced team members
Requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in the position of mechanic post
- Sound knowledge of Agricultural Equipment and on mechanical machinery operation and maintenance
- High level energy with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
- Strong record keeping skills
- Strong management and communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a team
- Valid drivers’ license
Qualifications
- Trade tested Diesel Mechanic qualification
- Matric certificate (if applicable)
