About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Technician or Higher Level Technician to join our team at Select Motor Recruitment in Witbank, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will have experience working on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles and strong technical skills. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance, as well as executing maintenance repairs according to Mercedes-Benz technical guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance on Mercedes-Benz vehicles
- Perform inspections, fault identification, and preventative maintenance
- Execute maintenance repairs according to Mercedes-Benz technical guidelines
- Accurately complete job cards, inspection reports, and service documentation
- Use Mercedes-Benz diagnostic systems and workshop tools correctly
- Ensure all work meets OEM quality, safety, and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workstation
- Communicate technical findings clearly to the Foreman or Service Advisor
- Adhere to dealership policies, procedures, and turnaround time standards
- Participate in ongoing Mercedes-Benz technical training and assessments
Requirements
- Qualified Automotive Technician (Trade Test / Red Seal)
- Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Technician or Higer certification preferred
- 3+ years’ experience working on Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles
- Strong understanding of Mercedes-Benz servicing schedules and standards
- Experience using Mercedes-Benz diagnostic and workshop systems
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
