Power Plant Maintenance Manager, Nelspruit, Rneg + Ben.

• Technical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree
• 2-4 years exp in Power Station exp
• 5 years experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management
• CMMS knowledge.
• Sound knowledge of OHS Act
• Sound knowledge and Experience in Labour Legislation
• General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage.

Duties:

• Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actions
• Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimization
• To lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.
• Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.
