Job Description
Power Plant Maintenance Manager, Nelspruit, Rneg + Ben.
- Technical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree
- 2-4 years exp in Power Station exp
- 5 years experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management
- CMMS knowledge.
- Sound knowledge of OHS Act
- Sound knowledge and Experience in Labour Legislation
- General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage.
Duties:
- Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actions
- Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimization
- To lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
- Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.
- Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management
