You will be required to do: Measuring from drawings and compiling elemental estimates and cash flows and giving cost advice to client. Measuring from drawings and compiling BOQs. Adjustment of project preliminaries. Preparing tender documents on a JBCC contract. Preparing tender adjudication and procurement recommendations. Site, technical and planning meetings. Preparing valuations for payment certificates. Preparing financial and contract status reports. Ongoing site measurements during construction and issuing variation orders and distinguishing between schedule and non-schedule rates. Checking and reconciling drawings and making adjustment necessary to suit As-Built. Compiling final accounts. Diversification to include energy, mining over and above construction [1] consulting, property development, manufacturing, waste management, supply and distribution contracts as well as plant and equipment hire. Business Plans and Proposals Qualifications B.Tech in Quantity Surveying or higher Skills Software skills MS Excel WinQS MS Office Dimension X Additional skills Preparation of cost and progress reports Applying cost control measures during executing of work on site Preparation and agreeing final accounts Facilitation of mediation to resolve disputes between Main and Sub-contractors as well as Main contractors and clients
