About the Role
BKB Ltd is seeking an experienced and reliable Commission Agent to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for marketing livestock and building strong relationships with clients. You will also be involved in procurement of auctions, out-of-hand transactions, and assisting fellow colleagues at auctions.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure livestock for auctions through effective and innovative services
- Market livestock to ensure constant growth in market share, revenue, and profitability
- Classify livestock and handle logistics and administrative processes
- Gather producer information to facilitate effective planning of marketing
- Provide excellent customer services
Requirements
- 3 years experience in Livestock marketing environment or relevant Diploma/Degree is recommended
- Ability to work independently combined with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
- Goal orientated
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Effective verbal and listening communication skills
- Time management skills
- Good computer literacy
- Decision-making skills
Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Valid drivers license
