Job Title: Accounts Payable Controller
Location: Nigel, Gauteng

Overview:
A large and expanding mining entity in Nigel is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Controller to join their Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the finance field while contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices and payments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
-
Prepare payment runs in line with company policies and deadlines.
-
Resolve supplier queries promptly and professionally.
-
Assist in month-end closing activities and reconciliations.
-
Support the Finance team with ad-hoc financial tasks and projects.
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Completed or currently studying towards a B.Comm Degree (Finance, Accounting, or similar).
-
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar accounts payable or finance position.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
-
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
