Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Finance & Accounting (±50%)
- Full financial accounting function across two trading companies
- Monthly reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls
- Preparation and analysis of financial statements
- FNB banking transfers and reconciliations
Planning, Strategy & Implementation (±30%)
- Financial forecasting, budgeting and business planning
- Translating strategic objectives into operational financial processes
- Implementing financial improvements, systems and policies
Management & Leadership (±20%)
- Supporting and advising senior management on financial matters
- Presenting financial insights to top leadership
- Enhancing financial efficiency and business profitability
Core Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Accountant
- Solid knowledge of SARS requirements, taxation, submissions, and compliance
- Exposure to Forex transactions
- Strong Payroll experience, including top management payroll
- Advanced accounting and reconciliation capability
- Skilled in financial controls, planning, strategy, and implementation
- Strong banking knowledge – preferably FNB systems
