Job Summary
Duties:
Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of retail operations and merchandising strategies to maximize sales, enhance customer experience, and ensure brand consistency. This role involves inventory ordering and management, supplier coordination, store layout planning, and sales analysis to drive profitability and operational efficiency.
Retail Management: Oversee daily retail operations to ensure efficiency and excellent customer service. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business targets. Manage store budgets, expenses, and profitability. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Train, and develop Front office and Retail staff to maintain high performance.
Merchandising: Plan, develop, and execute effective merchandising strategies. Analyse sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product assortment. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to negotiate prices and manage stock levels. Ensure proper store layout and visual merchandising to enhance customer engagement. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.
Sales & Performance Analysis: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, foot traffic, and conversion rates. Generate sales and inventory reports to support decision-making. Identify opportunities to improve product performance and maximize profitability.
Customer Experience & Brand Management: Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction. Implement promotional activities and campaigns to drive sales. Maintain brand consistency across all retail touchpoints. Gather and analyse customer feedback to improve retail offerings.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Retail Management or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Retail Management and Merchandising.
Proven track record in sales growth and store performance improvement.
Impressive knowledge of product and up to date with market trends.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and POS software.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Finer attention to detail and maintaining a guest centric approach in everything.
Highly presentable with excellent communication skills and balanced emotional intellect.
