Job Summary
Employment Term: 3 Year fixed term contract Main Purpose: To conduct forensic investigations against set deliverables through the provision of quality forensic investigation services during national, provincial and strategic investigations into maladministration and corruption within State Institutions, in support of the multi-disciplinary approach (MDA) to all projects/assignments.Key
Responsibilities:
Conduct Forensic Investigations on Provincial, National and Strategic ProjectsParticipate in Remedial Action ProceedingsForensic Investigation Area CompliancePerform any additional duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the organizationMinimum qualification and experience: B Degree/National Diploma in Law or Accounting or Forensic Accounting or relevant (NQF 6/7)Three years experience in Forensic InvestigationsExperience in public sector investigationsThorough knowledge of the laws, rules, and legal precedents pertaining to evidence, searching of premises and the technical aspects of conducting interviewsIn-depth knowledge of the investigation environment and forensic investigation principlesKnowledge of applicable legislation (e.g. Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law of Evidence, etc.)Knowledge of public sector legal environment (PMFA, MFMA, Treasury Regulations and other relevant Treasury Directives)Ability to testify as an expert witnessTechnical Skills: Problem-SolvingAnalyticalCommunicationInterpersonalRisk ManagementTime ManagementInquisitiveTeam PlayerAttention to detailAccuracyDeadline drivenCustomer focusedWork under pressureResults orientedAll candidates will be subjected to integrity screening procedures and a favourable end report is essential.
