Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance functions on and around sitesPaint and filling holes/cracks (on walls, sidewalks etc.) Display the knowledge and/or ability to be an expert in the field of being a painterCarry out minor/basic repairs and service on all plumbing related equipment.Perform general shopfitting duties including repair of equipment, locks, handles and tilesAssist Artisans with major repairs and servicesUndertake duties as assigned by managementIdentify and report repair needs to managementTake responsibility for the upkeep of the gardens/parking areas around the propertiesMaintain general neatness of parking areaEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalMinimum RequirementsMinimum 5 years relevant experience in a wide range of handyman tasks (Painting, Tiling, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry etc.)Basic knowledge/training on a variety of hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipmentNon-endorsed driver`s licenseGood communication skillsShould be able to handle heightsGood health and energetic Be able to work within a teamMust be prepared to work weekends and/or public holidaysAdvantageousMatric / NQF 4 Qualification / Trade CertificateExperience in managing a small teamHealth and Safety QualificationIf you are a skilled handyman with a strong technical background and are ready to take on a new and exciting challenge, we would love to hear from you.
